John invited Major General Matthew Zimmerman as guest speaker to Heritage Church of Christ in Baltimore at a Veteran's Day celebration. Zimmerman is the first black to become Chief of Chaplains in the US Army. He then became the Chief of Chaplains of the Veterans Administration.
